St. Catherine’s Juvenile athletes receive East Cork Achievement Awards
Last Thursday evening four of our Juvenile athletes were awarded for their achievements in the past year. The honour was bestowed by the East Cork Athletics Board at the Vienna Woods Hotel and presentations were made by none other than World Champion Heffernan, much to the delight of our young athletes. Rob Heffernan Race Walking Academy
World Champion Rob Heffernan is setting up a race walking academy in Cork. http://www.athleticsireland.ie/content/?p=36903 The open session takes place every Monday evening at the UCC Mardyke Arena track from 7-8pm. Coaches and athletes of all ages from all clubs are welcome to come along and experience race walking.
